Limfjordskollegiet is an apartment residence with 96 apartments spread over 7 blocks. It was built in 1969 and renovated in 2001-2003. The studio homes have a private kitchen and bathroom with patio doors to the outside, and an entrance to the common area. In each building there is also a common kitchen.
The Collegium has a gym, student bar, and garage for bike repairs.
Bakkegårdsvej is located near Vejgaard Town Center and only a 10 min bike ride form downtown Aalborg. In Vejgaard you can find a large number of different shops, and nice recreational areas such as Golf Park and Signal Bakken.
The immediate proximity to downtown and AAU makes the district attractive to students.
