The Master's in Software is for those who want to work with internet development and distributed and mobile networks – both from a developer and a user perspective. The programme also lets you explore research environments working in advanced software techniques and gives you access to the latest knowledge and technology.
About the programme
You should study Software if you are interested in advanced software development, programming, mobile software technology and data-intensive systems. You will have the opportunity to explore software technologies and gain knowledge about data-intensive and complex software systems. During the programme, you can work with topics such as programming technologies and internet applications, agents or services. You will also have the opportunity to work with mobile applications and services, and you can choose subjects within IT law or entrepreneurship.

New Master’s options
We expect that as of 2028 you will be able to take this Master's degree programme as a 2-year programme (full-time study, 120 ECTS credits) and as a 3-year Master's for working professionals (first year full-time and then two years of part-time study in combination with relevant employment)

Social and academic activities
The software education belongs to the Department of Computer Science at campus in Copenhagen. You can meet and talk with students from other study programmes on a daily basis, for example students from Cyber- and Computer Technology or Cyber Security. The student clubs at campus arrange social and academic activities all year round. Here you can meet your fellow students in new and different settings, which you can of course also contribute to.
