The project module is from the 2nd Semester of the Master of Problem Based Learning in Engineering and Science (MPBL) and can be followed as a single module (single semester).

During this project module, you will be asked to immerse yourself in the specific educational challenge of fostering educational changes through PBL as a pedagogical approach. The module will consider elements of curriculum and staff development for educational change as part of the process of (re)designing specific courses based on PBL principles for academic staff professional development.

Throughout the module, you will develop a project report based on reflections on how PBL principles can be implemented to foster educational change. The project work is supported through thematic workshops, supervision, and peer-learning groups. The learning activities involve facilitation, lecturing, readings, discussions, peer learning, reflections, and more.

Please note that this module is an elective module that, together with project modules ‘PBL in higher education’, ‘PBL and K12 education’ and ‘PBL and sustainability’, constitutes the elective modules for 2nd semester. It is only possible to choose one out of these four elective modules.
