If you have previously studied the same programme you are applying for but were withdrawn from the programme by the university, Aalborg University must assess whether you have significantly improved chances of completing the programme. This applies regardless of which university you previously attended.
Examples of reasons for withdrawal can include:
- You did not pass the initial study test.
- You have exhausted your exam attempts in one or more subjects.
- You did not participate in or pass the first-year exam.
- You did not meet the study activity requirements.
You can only be re-enrolled again if the circumstances that prevented you from completing the programme have changed, and you now have significantly improved your chances of completing the programme.
Aalborg University’s assessment of whether you have significantly improved study opportunities includes both academic and health-related factors.
How to apply
Go to the application portal and find the type of education “Study change/transfer – Bachelor’s programs/Master’s programs”. Then find the programme you wish to be re-enrolled in.
If you cannot find the programme, it is not possible to be re-enrolled in the programme this time.
For your re-enrolment application, you must complete and upload this form. You must explain:
- Why you did not complete the programme.
- Why you believe you are now able to complete the programme.
- What documentation you have that can support this.
Aalborg University’s assessment of whether you have significantly improved study opportunities may include both academic and health-related factors.
