To find out which course are offered at AAU, you need to look at the individual programme curricula. In the curriculum, you can see which modules the programme consists of and read additional information about the individual modules. You can find all the curricula here: AAU Curricula

Select the type of education. Please note that in the application portal, in the field ‘Type of Education,’ you must choose:

• ‘Single subject as guest student’ = You are applying for a study place in a single course

How do I specify which courses I am applying for? 

When you apply for single courses as an guest student, you must upload your pre-approval from your current university. Here, your university must specify which courses your application concerns.

You must upload the following when you apply:

• a pre-approval of credit transfer from your educational institution.
• documentation of your current study programme.
• as you must meet the admission requirements, you must also upload your high school diploma (if you are applying for parts of a bachelor’s programme) or your bachelor’s degree (if you are applying for parts of a master’s programme).

• The application deadline is 1 March for programmes  starting in September.
  • Available study places will be offered on 20 June.
• The application deadline is 15 October for programmes starting in February.
  • Available study places will be offered on 18 November.

We continuously send out responses to applications, and you can expect a reply by mid-June for a study start 1 September and by mid-November for a study start 1 February. 

AAU students planning to enrol in an elective subject at another university will need to find information at the website of the specific university. Please note that the study board of your current programme must pre-approve of studies at another university. 

As an AAU student, you also have the possibility to do an exchange semester via a collaboration agreement and thus become a guest student at a foreign institution.
