15 March, 12.00 noon

Once you have filled in the application a Signature Page is produced. You must print out, sign and submit the Signature Page to bacheloroptag@aau.dk before 15 March 12 noon. Your application process is not completed until the Signature Page is received at The Admissions Office.

Currently Aalborg University only offers three programmes in English - Applied Industrial Electronics and Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology in Esbjerg and Economics and Business Administration in Aalborg.
The bachelor’s degree program in Language and International Studies is only partly taught in English therefore Danish language at the highest level is required for this programme.
Aalborg University will convert your foreign GPA to a Danish GPA according to the rules set by the Danish Ministry of Higher Education and Science. Aalborg University is obligated by law to use the guidelines from the Ministry of Higher Education and Science when assessing foreign qualifications.
The above-mentioned rules also take place when Aalborg University makes an assessment of a subject level. Our case workers do not only look at the number of hours you were taught during the last 3 years of your upper secondary education, but also the curricula covered. Therefore, you must send a verification form as well as an English translation of the curricula for the specific entry requirement subjects.

Bachelor's programmes offered in English at Aalborg University require that your command of the English language is equivalent to level B (Danish level) in English. Level B (Danish level) in regard to languages is considered equivalent to level B2 referring to Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
How to fulfill the English B language requirement by test:
IELTS (including IELTS Online) (academic test): 6.5 overall band score with a minimum score of 6.0 in each section
TOEFL (internet-based + Home Edition): 85 with a minimum score of 20 in each section
C2 Proficiency (CPE): 180/ level C1
C1 Advanced (CAE): 180/ grade C
ECPE: Passed test including certificate
We do not accept the “TOEFL MyBest Scores” and "IELTS One Skill Retake".
We do not accept IELTS and TOEFL tests that are more than 2 years old at the time of the application deadline. Aalborg University will verify all tests at the specific test center.
Tuition waivers and scholarships is only available for master's degree programmes.
