Artists
The Heat
Expect an outgoing, stylish, and well-performed show from the new backing band, The Heat!
The Heat is made up of musicians who have played with some of Denmark’s biggest artists. They have joined forces to create a fresh take on a backing band that can perform both Danish and international cover music while also supporting artists.
The Heat has played with artists such as Saint Clara, Drew Sycamore, Mads Langer, and Jada.
DAYYANI
Behind the singer, songwriter, and producer DAYYANI is Aarhus-based Isabella Dayyani. With a musical depth rarely seen in mainstream pop, she delivers everything from high-energy pop songs to emotional and reflective ballads. DAYYANI has something to say and isn’t afraid to experiment and evolve her sound—one of the key reasons she has cemented herself in recent years as one of the most exciting and promising names on the Danish pop scene.
Two years on the road with the indie pop band Ganger seem to have been the perfect foundation for DAYYANI, who released her EP 'Pretty In Defense' in 2023. The songs on the EP move seamlessly between full-throttle diva energy and more introspective moments, such as in 'Blink Twice'. Within a year, both this track and the following single, 'Nobody Kills Me Like You Do', were named P3’s Unavoidable (P3’s Uundgåelige).
On stage, DAYYANI delivers a formidable and high-energy show that never fails to get the party started—something she has already proven with an impressive track record of live performances and festival appearances.
Mina Okabe
Mina Okabe was born and raised in London. With Danish-Japanese roots, she has lived across the globe with her family, soaking up life and culture in cities from New York to Manila. For the past five years, Mina has been living in Denmark – a place that feels like home, and the starting point for her next chapter, now with her music in tow.
It’s been a busy year for Mina Okabe. In spring 2024, she received the Japan Gold Disc Award for “New Artist of the Year” – a prestigious international honour that cemented her breakthrough with the hit single "Every Second" from her debut album Better Days. The album earned four stars from GAFFA and has long since surpassed 500 million streams worldwide.
Now, Mina is ready to build on a remarkable year with her latest single "Making Plans", which has just been released. And 2025 is already shaping up to be another exciting year – with appearances at the MME Awards, a new album on the way, and a summer that includes a return to Roskilde Festival.
Rakkerpak
Rakkerpak is a group of spirited individuals who found community through rap music. The two energetic rappers (Charlie Hart and Frederik Nielsen) sing in harmony with the band’s intense and dance-friendly pop/rock, packed with poetic melodies and fast-paced verses.
The band started at Mariagerfjord Gymnasium in 2020 but is now based in Aarhus. Over the past four years, they have played both large and small concerts and festival gigs all across Denmark.
The band released their debut EP, 'Manioekspressiv', in March 2023. After a year and a half without new releases, during which they focused on their live performances, they are now ready with their follow-up EP, 'Hooligan'.
Jencel & Kawamura and friends (JOHNSON and Gobs)
With the popular LÅGSUS show on P3, Pelle Peter Jencel and Nicholas Kawamura were behind one of Denmark’s biggest radio programmes. Now, they have become one of the country’s biggest party acts.
With their finger on the pulse, Jencel and Kawamura bring hit after hit and an electrifying atmosphere to the Danish audience. With integrity and a well-rounded musical repertoire, they establish a direct connection between the deck and the crowd whenever they take the stage.
In the past, names like TopGunn, Suspekt, Cisilia, Djames Braun, and Kesi have made exclusive guest appearances at Jencel and Kawamura’s explosive parties.
JOHNSON is one of Denmark’s most distinctive hip-hop voices, known for his honest and straightforward style. Throughout his career, he has managed to break free from societal norms and create a musical universe characterised by humour and attitude.
JOHNSON’s sound is a fusion of heavy beats, sharp punchlines, and an ability to craft hits that both ignite the dancefloor and provoke thought.
If you went to a party in 2023, you undoubtedly heard Gobs’ massive hit "Tak For Sidst", the leading single from his latest album 'Mellem Himmel & Jord'. An album that instantly became the most streamed in Denmark.
The 24-year-old songwriter has received multiple awards and nominations for both of his albums, 'INTET TIL ALT' and 'Knuste Hjerter Heler Aldrig'.
