Tribute to education, research, and knowledge collaboration

Aalborg University was established in 1974 as Aalborg University Centre (AUC) and holds an annual celebration to honour its many years of high-quality education and research, as well as – not least – its collaboration with the surrounding society. The awards presented at the annual celebration serve as a tribute to education, research, and knowledge collaboration – and, in particular, to those who make it possible.

Therefore, AAU extends invitations to specially selected partners and individuals of special significance to the university to participate in the ceremony.

Award ceremony 

At the annual celebration, the honorary doctors and AAU doctors of the year are appointed. In addition, the following prizes are awarded:

• Spar Nord Foundation’s Research Award
• The Obel Family Foundation’s Teaching Award
• NOVI Scholarship
