Published online: 18.08.2023

AAU has had AAU Jobbank for several years: an important part of our commitment to support our students' career development and create a bridge between them and the labour market through exciting job opportunities, internships, semester projects and master theses. AAU Jobbank changed platforms at the beginning of August 2023, providing new opportunities for both students and staff.

All students and graduates who have previously used AAU Jobbank have been notified of the new platform and given the opportunity to move their previous profile to the new platform.

NOTE! If you have used AAU Jobbank as an employee to create job, project, or internship ads, you need to register again on the new platform. Read how to do this below.

What can you find on AAU Jobbank?

AAU Jobbank is not just a traditional job portal; it's much more than that!

Here you will find a wide range of opportunities for our students, including:

  1. 1

    Job ads

The platform allows companies to advertise their vacancies (both student jobs and full-time jobs) specifically to our talented students and graduates for free.

  2. 2

    Internships

Students have access to exciting internships (project oriented courses) that allow them to gain practical experience in their field of study.

  3. 3

    Semester projects

Companies can collaborate with our students to solve real-world challenges through semester projects.

  4. 4

    Master's theses

Students have the opportunity to find topics for their master's theses where they can contribute to current research and development.

  5. 5

    Events

Students have access to a range of relevant events focused on their career development. Some are locally organised by AAU via AAU Career and others are international online events.

Digital and hybrid career fairs

AAU Jobbank also serves as a tool for facilitating digital career fairs, where companies can present themselves and their opportunities online and engage with our students and graduates. Furthermore, the new platform introduces an exciting functionality for hybrid fairs. This allows our students to attend a physical fair and at the same time access a digital lobby where they can read about the participating companies - before, during and after the fair.

You can use AAU Jobbank for free to host digital and hybrid events for your students. Contact AAU Career to learn more.

How to use AAU Jobbank

To get the most out of AAU Jobbank and to post jobs, internships, semester projects, or master theses, please take a look at the following links for more information and detailed instructions:

All internal student positions must be advertised in AAU Jobbank

AAU Jobbank is the official channel to advertise all internal student positions. This is in accordance with AAU's policy of providing equal opportunities for all students and graduates. Read more at staff.aau.dk.

Help spread the message

AAU Career encourages all employees to get involved in AAU Jobbank and help promote it among our students and partners. Together, we can create a dynamic platform that helps our students put theory into practice and "make it real".

Keep an eye out for relevant opportunities for your students

As an employee, you are also very welcome to create a profile on AAU Jobbank. With a profile, you can fill in the search criteria that you consider relevant to your students and you will automatically be notified when new opportunities that match their academic background become available. This way, you can help remind students of relevant opportunities for collaboration and experience.
