The purpose of processing your information
Aalborg University (AAU) wants to collect information about what it is like to be a student at AAU in order to tell potential students about how similar and different existing students at AAU are. This can be done through posts on AAU's social media accounts, on AAU websites, through online and offline information campaigns for AAU, advertisements for, and articles about, AAU in print, posters, brochures/printed matter and in digital media formats, as well as marketing, campaign and advertising films for television and online platforms. Your answers will always be anonymous in the information material – we will never state individual people's answers.
We process the following personal data
General personal data, including your student email and your statements about your student life, processed cf. art. 6(1), letter a.
How we store your information
We store your personal data for as long as is necessary in relation to the purpose for which your personal data is processed and in accordance with applicable legislation. We then anonymise the collected statements by deleting the email address and archive them in accordance with archive legislation.

Please note that you cannot withdraw your consent retroactively.

Disclosure to third parties within and outside the EU

Based on your consent, AAU may publish material containing your anonymised data on its social media accounts, including Facebook, YouTube, Instagram and Twitter.
